Having a good year having won three on the bounce in lower grades. Now 17lb higher than for the first of those victories and it may be that the handicapper has him in his grip now.
Been running well all season and gained a deserved success at Pontefract two starts back when making all off a 5lb lower mark. Couldn't follow up at Nottingham last time and now takes a slight drop in trip.
Had a good start to the year but his form has tailed off somewhat since. Clearly capable off this sort of mark and yards runners can bounce back to form at any time so hard to dismiss.
Come good the last twice when looking strong in the finish winning on both occasions over 1m. Goes up another furlong and is up 4lb but every chance there is going to be more to come over this trip and is a leading player.
A story of steady progress so far and went close at Haydock last time despite the ground being quicker than ideal. The extra furlong and softer ground here will suit and will be a leading player.
Won off this mark at Pontefract back in October. Only had three starts so far this year and should be getting towards peak fitness now, so every chance of a better showing now with conditions to suit.
Made all to win back-to-back races at Carlisle and Ayr before finding this higher mark too much last time. Was drawn wide there and still a chance there will be more to come.
Won here over 1m½f on seasonal reappearance. Slapped with a 9lb rise for that win and has struggled off this higher mark since. Still early days and may not have stopped improving just yet. Not completely discounted.
Won his first two handicap starts off marks of 75 & 79 before struggling off this mark of 84 last time. This is competitive and he is likely to find a couple of these too good once more.
Goes well when fresh, having scored both on debut last year and then on his reappearance at Doncaster (1m2f, soft) in June. Taken out for unsuitable ground (good/good to firm) since then. Interesting if he takes his chance from 5lb higher.
Form this year has been way below what had been achieved previously. Well held behind Michelle Strogoff at Pontefract last time and hard to make a solid case for other than the fact he does look dangerously well handicapped in first time cheekpieces
Slapped with a 9lb rise after winning very easily at Musselburgh over this trip back in June. Subsequent efforts haven't been as good but first crack back at this trip since and further progress possible with claimer taking off a handy 3lbs.
Won nicely over this trip at York in June but form has tailed off since. This is tougher than recent races and others make much more appeal at this stage.
Raised a total of 11lb for back-to-back wins at Beverley and York. Found this grade/mark too much at Goodwood last time but further progress is more than possible so not dismissed.

Ayutthaya (10/3), Delph Crescent (5/1), Falmouth Light (6/1), Give It Some Teddy (8/1), Theglasgowwarrior (8/1), Michele Strogoff (9/1), Poet's Prince (10/1), Rockwood (14/1), Duck Egg Blue (14/1), Brother McGonagall (18/1), Royal Shaheen (20/1), Rock N Rolla (20/1), Glasses Up (25/1), Visitant (25/1), Silvery Moon (50/1)
Another wide-open affair that could go the way of AYUTTHAYA who has made steady progress and gets his ideal conditions here for the first time since moving into handicap company. Royal Shaheen is in great form and has strong claims of completing the hat-trick with this extra furlong set to suit. Delph Crescent still has untapped potential and is also on the shortlist. It was not surprise anyone should Poet's Prince bounce right back to form.
- Ayutthaya
- Royal Shaheen
- Delph Crescent
