A beaten favourite last time (visor on for first-time) on his 3rd handicap start he now faces calmer waters back in maiden company. Needs a strong pace to be seen at his best but does come from a yard in good form.

Back to form last time in first-time cheekpieces he's another in this field who returns to maidens having run well enough in a handicap last time. His best form has come on the AW though and a return to synthetics may see him to better effect.

Both his runs on the AW have suggested that he needs time and a greater test of stamina to be seen to any sort of effect. Looks one for the longer term and a handicap career.

Has a mark of 72 but looks far from living up to a mark of that ilk having not really built on the promise of his early starts. Beaten 10L at Redcar last time taking a strong hold and not looking the most straightforward of rides.

No match for an improving sort over 6f last time she still ran with credit on a softer surface than she will face here. Now stepped up to 7f for the first-time (can be slow away) but more needed at these weights to make an impact.

Tiara Gold19
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-12| J: Louis Steward| T: Rae Guest
25/1
Has quite a speedy pedigree so it was a surprise to see her start off as a juvenile over this trip where she showed a little bit of promise. Ran poorly when next seen though on her return after a long absence and best watched for now.

Forecasts

Dream Catching (1/1), Dusty (5/2), General Jack (9/2), Mr Gent (15/2), Tiara Gold (25/1), Kennerton Green (66/1)

Verdict

Not quite banker material but the team associated with DREAM CATCHING are in good form and this return to maiden company from handicaps present him with a decent chance of the getting off the mark. Dusty is now given a try over 7f but faces a stiff enough task at the weights although in a weak race she looks the one to chase home the market leader with General Jack and Mr Gent contesting the minor place.

  2. Dusty
  3. Mr Gent
