Looked far from the finished article when making his handicap debut; looked the sort to do better in this sphere but has yet to prove it. Could be excused his penultimate run but ran no race at all last time and comes here under a cloud.
Showed up well on her handicap debut only losing out to a slightly more progressive individual over this trip at Windsor. Appeared rather stretched by a 2f longer trip last time and makes more appeal back at this trip off the same mark.
Knocking at the door of late in handicaps with two runner-up spots to her name although the first one came in a match. Does look quite exposed in the context of this race and may prove vulnerable to any improving sorts.
Has some bits and pieces of form that would give him a chance here although his penultimate start with the blinkers on for the first-time left him looking awkward under pressure. Had no obvious excuses when running poorly last time though.
Previously with Philip Hide he's shaped better than the bare result on a couple of occasions of late and now makes his debut for a new yard with a fine record here. Has some decent course form to his name and worth a glance in the market.
Surprising to see the headgear (visor) that he wore last time removed here as he looks rather short of pace and he needs some sort of spark. Already tried over this trip he was off the bridle for much of the race; needs further to show something.
Forecasts
Brexitmeansbrexit (6/4), Rocksette (5/2), Institution (5/1), Atomic Jack (11/2), Vanity Vanity (12/1), Vlannon (20/1)
Brexitmeansbrexit has already had seven attempts at breaking her maiden in handicaps and whilst her last few runs have seen her run with credit she does look a little vulnerable to an improving sort here and there are a couple. Rocksette making his debut for the Gary Moore yard is one of them and with her decent course form she looks a danger but it’s VANITY VANITY who makes more appeal having looked rather stretched by the longer trip last time having run well the time before. Atomic Jack has shown promise in the past but has looked a little below-par of late and would need a return to his previous form to take a hand here.
