Landed a hat-trick for Sir Michael Stoute in early 2016 but not scored since. Dropped in class in two starts for this yard early in the year but showed little and something looked amiss latest. Plenty of question marks over him.
7f two-year-old scorer only had one run over this trip and that in a red-hot Derby trial last year. Not beaten far in 1m Newmarket (July course) handicaps over 1m last twice. Mixed messages regarding this trip.
1m AW Kempton Novice winner first time out has gone close in both subsequent starts since moving into handicaps over 1m2f at Windsor. Clearly on the up and cheekpieces addition could help given the way he has hung under pressure last twice.
Just one from 19 on turf and that came more than a year back on soft ground. Underperformed on fast ground in the past and kept away from it this term so forecast conditions a worry. First-time blinkers need to make a difference.
1m Maiden winner here at the start of the season and followed up in an AW Novice contest. Beaten 7L and 5L in a pair of 1m handicaps since. More needed now upped in trip and mixed messages as to whether he will stay.
Lightly raced gelding hasn't really built on the promise of his second in a Newmarket handicap back in May. 2lb lower than fourth of five latest but will need more. Form of this yard is a positive.
Lingfield AW winner 18 months ago has stopped rapidly in last two starts so wind surgery he has had may be able to help him show his true colours again. Too many doubts to recommend him currently.
Lightly raced son of Dark Angel finished second at Windsor first time out this season before chasing home an unbeaten Group One entered horse at Doncaster. Steps into handicaps for first time and seriously unexposed. Jockey booking noted.
Northern raider won a small field 1m handicap at Bath before appreciating a step up to 1m2½f at Chester latest. Up 5lb today but unexposed over this trip and trainer's lone runner so surely not made the journey for nothing.
Three-time winner this season showed signs of a revival latest when third at Brighton after a couple of below par efforts. Handicapper helping a bit now so could go well here.

HIDDEN DEPTHS makes his handicap debut here and Sir Michael Stoute's colt could easily be a good bit better than his opening mark based on the fact he chased home a potential Group Horse latest. Red Force One makes plenty of appeal and Tom Dascombe hasn't sent this improving gelding all the way from Cheshire for a run round. Also considered is Come On Come On who has run well in both handicaps to date and cheekpieces could be the answer to his tendency to hang under pressure.
