6f Newmarket novice winner on debut unseated coming out next up at Ascot before attempting to make all latest at Chelmsford but having to settle for third under the 6lb penalty. More needed here but step back in trip should be in her favour.

Maiden who ran well enough in second start before finishing midfield latest when highly tried in C&D Super Sprint. Another tough task here on form to date.

Built on a couple of thirds when winning a 5½f York novice contest last time out when showing a good attitude. This represents a considerably tougher task.

Only beaten 1¼L into fifth in her third start in the Group Two Queen Mary. Shade disappointing next when second at odds-on and well below par latest upped to 6f in Newmarket Group Two. Queen Mary form outstanding but runs since a concern.

Debut winner over 5f at Windsor but not added to it in four subsequent races. Latest third in a Newmarket handicap a solid effort but tough to fancy here in this considerably tougher contest.

Heartwarming23

Built on promise of debut second at Sandown when winning at the same course although gave backers a fright when jumping the path before eventually winning cosily. More needed but this half-sister to last year's Queen Mary winner may be capable.

Landed a hat-trick of 5f nurseries at Ripon, Wolverhampton and Chelmsford with the latest the most impressive of the lot. Joint-second on ratings and done enough to earn this shot at black type. Sure to make a bold bid.

5/2
Irish raider bolted up at the third time of asking at Naas over 5f before finishing fourth in a Curragh Group Three over 6f where she travelled well but found little. Drops in class and trip here and both should help so looks a leading contender.

Kempton AW winner left two previous turf runs behind when only beaten 1L into fourth in the valuable C&D Super Sprint last time out. Step up needed but can't totally be ruled out.

Comfortably won a Yarmouth novice over 5f in her third start before racing too freely when second upped to 6f at the same venue last time. Big step up in class and hard to see her being good enough.

Catterick winner was 1½L and six places behind Come On Leicester in the Queen Mary. Placed last twice at pattern level in France so has some of the best form on offer. Ground here will be much quicker than in France and that the biggest doubt.

Dual AW winner including latest at Wolverhampton under a penalty. Struggled in lone turf start at this level when 10th of 12 at Newmarket. Drops back to 5f for first time but looks stable second string.

Bumped into subsequent Group Two winner on debut before finishing second at Lingfield and won at that same venue latest. But to find here but dam won this race and this trainer not the sort to tilt at windmills so is respected.

Winner over 5f at Beverley followed up easily at Chepstow over 6f before finishing fourth latest at Newmarket under top-weight in a nursery over 6f where she looked like reverting to today's trip would suit. Not to be underestimated.

Verdict

SHUMOOKHI and Come On Leicester met in the Queen Mary with the latter coming out on top but Archie Watson's filly seems to have gone on from there with placed efforts at Listed and Group level in France while Richard Hannon's filly hasn't necessarily done the same although 6f may have been against her latest. Irish raider Lethal Promise is another who has to enter calculations and she should be ideally suited by this test of speed which appears the filly's trump suit. Triple nursery scorer Implicit deserves her chance at this level too and it's hard to see her being far away.
  1. Shumookhi
  2. Lethal Promise
  3. Come On Leicester
