Likely to build on a couple of promising runs at the Curragh on debut and when second of 11 in a Leopardstown 6f maiden last week.
Daughter of Kodiac out of a Balmont mare. Half-sister to useful types Tiggy Wiggy and Gifted Master. Disappointing on debut at Gowran Park when last of 11 last month.
Only beaten 2¾L on sole visit here in May but well held on turf since including last time out on handicap debut at the Curragh. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.
Sepoy half-sister to useful 7f/1m performer Peak Princess. Last of five when last seen in a Leopardstown maiden in June. Hard to place any faith in here.
Daughter of Slade Power out of a Fasliyev mare. Sire has his first youngsters in 2018. Filly half-sister to winners Hesslewood and Strings Of Life. Promising on debut at Gowran Park and likely to be in the mix here.
Shaped as if a drop in trip would suit when finishing down the field in a 6f maiden at Naas on debut in June before disappointing again in a Tipperary maiden earlier this month. Opposable on evidence to hand.
Daughter of Toronado out of an Invincible Spirit mare. Cost 13,000gns as a foal. Market likely to be the best guide with yard in fine form.
Paco Boy filly is a half-sister to several winners, including useful 7f/1m winner Wilde Inspiration and juvenile 6f winner Use Your Filbert. Struggled on first couple of career starts and first-time hood unlikely to bring about any improvement.
Daughter of Dandy Man out of a middle-distance winning mare. Finished well down the field on debut in a Tipperary maiden earlier this month. Liable to find a couple stronger.
Plenty to like about her second of 12 beaten ¾L in a 7f maiden at the Galway festival and is entitled to make the shortlist here.
Morpheus half-sister to 5f/6f Sylvia Pankhurst, and 2-y-o 5f-1m winner Snowed In. Watching brief on debut and likely to improve for debut run.
Daughter of Battle Of Marengo bought for €3,000 as a yearling last September. Fifth of 14 in a promising 5f debut at Tipperary earlier this month. Could be of interest at the finish.
Hellvelyn filly is a sister to 5f winner Hot Hannah and half-sister to useful winner up to 6f Steve Prescott. Sixth of 11 on debut beaten 4½L in a Navan maiden over 5f last month. Place claims if others falter.
Nothing of note in three disappointing career starts to date and requires a chunk of improvement to play a role here.
Forecasts
Burmese Waltz (2/5), Summerset (13/2), Harvest Bow (8/1), Lady Marengo (9/1), Festina Plente (20/1), Cozy Sky (20/1), That's Not Me (33/1), Tessiesee (33/1), Jewel Love (33/1), Ascot Dreamer (40/1), Hitchslap (50/1), Don't Tell Ronan (50/1), Frischs Joy (66/1), Amberscole (66/1)
The Ger Lyons-trained BURMESE WALTZ can be expected to build on a couple of promising runs since July and could take some beating in the opener here. Noel Mead's Harvest Bow, an eye-catching second of 12 at the Galway festival, can give the selection the most to think about, while Summerset and Lady Marengo appear the best of the rest.
- Burmese Waltz
- Harvest Bow
- Lady Marengo
