Dragon Pulse filly, cost €6,000 as a foal. Too green on debut at Navan before improving to finish second of 10 beaten 3L at Naas last month. Likable type who should be in the mix.

Zoffany filly bought for €240,000 as a yearling last September. Half-sister to a number of winners including the classy Zhukova. Needs to improve on debut run at Leopardstown last month but worth a market check.

Dragon Pulse half-sister to useful 6f-1m winner Haley Bop. Not beaten up when down the field on debut at Bellewstown before a promising second of six beaten ½L in a Leopardstown claimer last month. Open to plenty of improvement.

War Front filly, sister to a 7f winner and 1m winner. Dam won the Irish 1,000 Guineas and the Epsom Oaks. Well held in a couple of starts to date including in a Listed event at Tipperary. Market likely to be the best guide.

Forecasts

Rathmoylan Cove (7/2), Mona Lisa's Smile (4/1), Gold Jasmine (9/2), Dragons Call (5/1), Estrella (5/1), Black Magic Woman (7/1), Commodus (12/1), Scarlet Skis (25/1), Tough Tigress (33/1), Tosen Aisling (50/1)

Verdict

A weak looking affair where the J J Feane-trained DRAGONS CALL wouldn't have to improve on her second of 10 in a Navan maiden to land the spoils here. The Dermot Weld runer, Estrella and Gold Jasmine from the in-form Ger Lyons yard are both open to plenty of improvement as is Black Magi Woman who could surprise at a price.
  1. Dragons Call
  2. Estrella
  3. Black Magic Woman
