Winner of three of his 14 visits here the Kheleyf gelding has been out of sorts recently and is likely to struggle giving weight all round.
Had a spell in the UAE earlier in the year but has not convinced at all in three runs since. Others preferred.
C&D winner who has won four of his 14 visits here. Defeats over the summer have the Intikhab gelding coming back down to a mark he can be dangerous from. Worth a market check.
Impressive over 1m in two starts at Cork and Killarney. Step up in trip not sure to suit but inclined to produce better in this company.
Winner of a 1m2f Navan handicap on good to firm when last seen in June. Placed in two of his three previous starts here and rates a leading contender here.
Caught the eye last month at the Curragh when third on first start in Ireland, not exactly gone on with things in three starts since and watching brief on AW debut.
Winner of his sole visit here over 1m when last seen in October last year. Dangerous if building on last appearance.
Three-time winner this season, latest in a Killarney handicap over 1m3f last month. Solid and reliable sort who is worth a market check on AW debut.
Course winner that has also won over this trip. Boast solid form at this track and races 11lb lower than his last winning mark. Place claims at a price.
C&D winner in February off a 5lb lower mark. Beaten since on turf over similar distances and may be liable to find a couple stronger in this contest.
Gallant sort who is a C&D winner with three course victories to his name. Plenty in his favour here with conditions to suit but may have to wait for assistance from the handicapper before getting serous again.
C&D winner last month in a competitive maiden when sent off the odds-on favourite. Raised 7lb for the victory the Galileo fiily may find life difficult here despite first-time cheekpieces.
Modest gelding by Teofilo who has been well beaten in each of his four career starts to date. First time eye-shield doubtful to bring about the required amount of progress needed to play a role here.
Forecasts
Dawn Hoofer (4/1), The Kid Bobby B (4/1), El Greco (9/2), Spruce Meadows (15/2), Spiral Galaxy (8/1), Nimitz (14/1), Wishing Star (14/1), Paperback Writer (14/1), Georgian Bay (16/1), California Lad (16/1), Tennessee Wildcat (20/1), Carbon Dating (25/1), Red Avenger (33/1)
Despite his time away from the track the Ger Lyons-trained THE KID BOBBY B is taken to build on his C&D win when last seen in October in what appears to be a weak looking renewal. The form of Spiral Galaxy's win at Navan in June has taken plenty of knocks so it may be left to the solid and consistent, Dawn Hoofer and Ballydoyle's El Greco to give the selection the most to think about.
- The Kid Bobby B
- Dawn Hoofer
- El Greco
