C&D winner of five starts round here. Has gone well in three visits to Ayr over the summer and has the form to make a bold bid here.
C&D winner who has three wins at this track to his name. Ran as well as could be expected on seasonal return at the Galway festival but comes here 12lb higher than last winning mark.
Beaten 20L when last seen in a 7f Roscommon handicap but is a C7D winner with a couple of course wins to his name. Enters calculations here.
In fine form here towards the end of last year winning over C&D in the process. Likable type and should be in the mix here.
Course winner that has also won over this trip including landing a 6f Curragh handicap earlier this month. One to consider on recent form.
Won at Ayr this term and ran well on a couple of occasions since including close fourth at Down Royal over 5f before finishing over 12L behind A Likely Story earlier this month. Place claims at best.
The losing run now stands at 30 but he's now fallen to a level where he should be able to compete from. Without a win here in 14 visits remains a concern.
Without a win in four visits here and although a likable type always liable to find one or two quicker in his races.
Largely well held in a number of below par performances over the summer and comes here nought from five at the course.
Distance winner who has been beaten on all nine visits to the track. Can go well but may find one or two making more improvement here.
Has not registered a win or a place in four visits here and although running well at Navan in June over 5½f, looks up against it here.
Nothing of note in four disappointing career starts to date including a 11L defeat on sole visit here in February over C&D. Needs to improve to have a say here.
Failed to beat a rival home when making his seasonal debut over 7f here when last seen in May. Others look more convincing at this level.
Slight signs of promise last time out in a Fairyhouse handicap over 6f diminished when the Approve filly finished last of 13 beaten 27L at Down Royal in June. Looks a tall order in first-time blinkers.

Forecasts
A Likely Story (3/1), Duncan Of Scotland (6/1), Glenmoore (13/2), Ar Saoirse (13/2), Pillar (8/1), Cappadocia (9/1), Clare Island (9/1), Downtown Diva (10/1), Ancient Astronaut (12/1), Diable d'Or (16/1), Phoenix Lightning (16/1), Kings Of Luxor (20/1), Takeachancejimmy (25/1), Mr Shelby (25/1), Guiding Star (28/1), Cats Approval (40/1), Sucre (40/1)
The solid and consistent A LIKELY STORY can carry on her excellent summer form here following a neck win at the expense of Lily's Prince at the Curragh earlier this month and can add to her sole win here in April. C&D winners Duncan Of Scotland, Glenmore and Clare Island could be the biggest dangers given their course experience.
- A Likely Story
- Glenmoore
- Clare Island
