5/1
Winning chaser who ran well to finish second in a novices' hurdle over C&D last month. More experienced than his rivals and a threat to all, especially if the first-time visor has a positive effect.
Gelding by Oscar from a winning family over hurdles. Never a factor on debut at Gowran Park in June when trained by Joseph O'Brien and has since been bought by current connections for £2,200. Watching brief advised.

4/6
Newton Abbot winner in May and has run well in defeat in two subsequent outings. Consistent type who has been found a good opportunity to return to winning ways.
4

100/1
Poor point-to-pointer who showed only a modicum of ability before falling at the last in a novice chase at this venue. Hard to fancy on this switch to hurdles.

9/4
Flashes of promise when trained by Mouse Morris in Ireland. Shrewd stable does well with its recruits from other yards so he is one to keep an eye on in the betting.

Forecasts

Desirable Court (4/6), Settimo Milanese (9/4), Bugsie Malone (5/1), Wingsofredemption (25/1), Can You Believe It (50/1), One More Bid (100/1)

Verdict

One More Bid, Can You Believe It and Wingsofredemption are readily opposed, but Irish recruit Settimo Milanese is interesting on his debut for his shrewd yard. However, the form book suggests this should be fought out by Desirable Court and BUGSIE MALONE and the greater experience of the selection may just swing it in his favour.
  1. Bugsie Malone
  2. Desirable Court
  3. Settimo Milanese
