Ran well off a higher mark than this at Windsor last year but two runs so far this year have been disappointing. Should be cherry ripe in fitness terms now and hood is added. Needs to bounce back.

Modest performer under both codes and despite the blinkers being added here it is very hard to make any kind of case for him until we see a sharp upturn in form.

Been off the track since breaking his maiden in first time blinkers on the Fibresand at Southwell. Returns after a nine month absence and fitness will need to be taken on trust. Probably on a fair mark now.

No doubt he is on a good mark but can spoil his chance by going off too quickly. Not much competition for the lead in here though so if Fran Berry can get the fractions right, he could be pretty hard to catch.

Lightly raced so far having only had the four starts. Encouraging return to action at Lingfield last time when shaping like this step up in trip would really suit. Makes handicap debut off a fair mark and worth considering.

There have been hints of promise but they are surrounded by some fairly tame efforts including at Epsom last time. Needs to put in a career best to be winning this so consensus is to oppose.

Form has gone off the boil a bit of late and is still a maiden after 14 starts. Needs to bounce back to be involved but others readily preferred.

Certainly capable off this sort of mark but form has a real in-and-out feel to it. Hood goes on for the first time and market check needed.

Forecasts

Champs De Reves (6/4), Zambeasy (7/2), Lopito (7/2), Second Page (9/2), Lightening Dance (6/1), Hawridge Glory (13/2), Tinos (7/1), Triple First (12/1), Polar Light (12/1), Powerful Society (16/1), L'Attesa (66/1)

Verdict

An interesting handicap in which Zambeasy could be pretty hard to catch if Fran Berry can get the fractions right. Tinos makes his handicap debut off a very fair mark stepping up in trip and is respected. LOPITO comes here with sound claims having shaped with so much promise at Wolverhampton last time. This trip looks ideal at this stage and he can get off the mark at the fifth time of asking.
  1. Lopito
  2. Zambeasy
  3. Tinos
