Just the two runs, held on debut over a mile here in November 2016 and then absent for 600 days. Not entirely without promise on reappearance at Chepstow (1m, good to firm) in June and interesting to see if that can be built on.

10/11
Daughter of Invincible Spirit has shown plenty promise in five starts so far on turf, nowhere more so than at Hamilton (6f, good) 11 days ago when just failing to get back up in a ding-dong battle. Excellent chance if handling this surface.

13/2
Daughter of Excelebration who is related to several winners including the dam of the very smart sprinter Marsha. Good start when 2L third of six over 6f at Wolverhampton last month. Solid prospects of building on that now.

14/1
Filly by Zoffany, just held on sole two-year-old outing at Lingfield (6f, AW) in June 2017, reappeared last month with third of nine in Ffos Las maiden (7½f, good to firm) when short of room late on and potentially lacking fitness. Place claims.

Daughter of Group 2 Temple Stakes winner Bated Breath and plenty speed on dams side. Interesting runner on debut with market providing best guide.

Dubawi sister to useful 1m2f winner Mubajal and half-sister to smart 1m2f-1m4f winner Quloob. Represents top connections and likely to be ready to roll.
Equiano filly is a half-sister to 1m4f winner Perfect Rhythm and winner up to 7f Gun Case. Market should reveal more on first start.

Champs Elysees filly. Sister to useful winner up to 1m4f Field of Fame and related to multiple winner. Yard 3-27 with three-year-olds over previous 12 months.

Forecasts

Angel's Glory (10/11), Nomoathaj (3/1), Bubbly (13/2), Carricklane (14/1), Arctic Haze (14/1), Holding My Breath (14/1), Classified (25/1), Star Of Athena (33/1), Perfect Challenge (50/1)

Verdict

ANGEL'S GLORY is perhaps unfortunate not to be on the board by now and she has proved expensive to follow. That said, she sets the standard here and there wasn't much wrong with her attitude in a narrow defeat at Hamilton last time. First time on an artificial surface, she should take beating if handling it. Both Carricklane and Bubbly are likely to improve while it is well worth noting the newcomers Nomoathaj and Arctic Haze in the betting.
  1. Angel's Glory
  2. Nomoathaj
  3. Bubbly
