Showed much improved form his debut switched to the AW and upped to this trip last time when winning at Newcastle. Still looked as though he had things to learn and is open to further improvement under a penalty; drawn wide.

Didn't quite make the expected improvement from first to second run although still ran with credit having travelled well stepped up to 7f from a 6f debut. 3rd to Balance Of Power last time the weights should bring them closer together again.
Oasis Dream colt from a powerful yard who 50+ juvenile winners in the record books this year and know how to prepare a newcomer. 5-9 with their juveniles this year this one has plenty of winning relations and has to be respected in the market.

Looks to be a work-in-progress judged on his two starts so far where he was too inexperienced to produce an awful lot on debut but came on for that experience last time. This may well bring about more progress; looks an ideal nursery type.

Well related and quite well found in the betting on his debut he didn't show anything approaching a decent level of form on his debut (green; finished last). Hard to think that he can't improve based on his pedigree but best watched for now.

There was plenty to like about his debut where he was doing all his best work at the finish over this trip at Redcar; may well appreciate this stiffer 7f. He was really the only one to trouble the unbeaten (2-2) winner; looks a leading player.

Yard are tending to underperform a little with their juveniles this year and this one (gelded already) only showed a reasonable level of form on his debut. Did offer something to work on though and capable of more here; well drawn.

One of two runners from this yard he had come out best of the newcomers on his debut on the AW over this trip. Form looks useful (2nd won next time out; 3rd has run well since) and he looks one of the more likely sorts on his second start.

Looks the lesser of the two runners from this yard having been a 66/1 chance in a decent Newmarket maiden on debut. Slow away there he wasn't knocked around and continues his education here; sure to show more in the future.

Newcomer from a yard who have over the past five years had an average record with their juveniles here (5-94). Half-brother to a 1m winner in Hasselnott; dam was a 5f winner who stayed 1m. Best watched on debut despite a good draw.

The only filly in the field she showed that she had some ability on her debut but got outpaced over this trip and looks to need further. Entitled to progress but that improvement is likely to come when given a greater test of stamina.

Forecasts

Kingson (6/4), Noble Lineage (4/1), Dream Poet (8/1), Mo Emmad Ali (8/1), Dream Sands (8/1), Balance Of Power (9/1), Five Angels (14/1), Sameem (20/1), Timetodock (33/1), Anna Bunina (50/1), George Hastings (50/1)

Verdict

Good contest with several options and the race should be well worth paying attention to. KINGSON is the suggestion having shown that he had plenty of ability on his debut when chasing home a well-fancied rival at Redcar and his yard are no strangers to juvenile winners. Balance Of Power and Dream Sands are closely matched on their Newcastle running and those two can both make their mark again. Five Angels looks to be one who will be very at home in nurseries once he has a mark and the biggest danger lies with Noble Lineage. He made a very taking start to his career at Wolverhampton (form working out well) and looks sure to have more to offer on his second start switched to turf.
  1. Kingson
  2. Noble Lineage
  3. Balance Of Power
