Still a maiden after 16 starts but had fallen to a low mark and seemed revitalised by the first-time blinkers over this C&D. Holds chances if headgear has the same effect.

Former Irish performer who has yet to win for current connections but ran well enough over this C&D last time and is now on a very attractive mark. Can be in contention again.

Back to last winning mark and should be better for recent run, however both wins have com over two furlongs further at Wolverhampton and may pay to wait till he returns there.

16-race maiden but came back to form over this distance at Lingfield and should be a contender if acting on first try at this track.

First-time visor replaces usual cheekpieces and showed promise on first run for new stable before a disappointing run last time. Not certain this drop in trip is what is required.

Dora's Field (15/8), Duggary (5/2), Carvelas (5/1), All About The Pace (6/1), Oyster Card (7/1), Iconic Boy (16/1), Ramblow (20/1), Snow Mobile (50/1)

Verdict

A typically tricky race in this grade where the maidens All About The Pace and Dora's Field hold realistic chances after both showing better form on their last run. CARVELAS has yet to win in nine starts since arriving in the UK but is now 6lb lower than his last winning run in Ireland and looked well suited by this track on his first run over the C&D.
