Winner over extended-mile here last August (rated 83) but shown precious little since, including in recent Galway Festival outing on turf. Declining handicap mark the main positive, must bounce back.
Has enjoyed a very consistent 2018 campaign, with four wins (two over C&D) from 11 starts. Surely not himself on turf at Ascot last month when fading very tamely. Likely to bounce back.
Decent record of 5-24 (placed a further seven times) on the AW for Richard Fahey. Hasn't run since January but worth a market check now starting life for new handler just 1lb below previous winning mark.
Returned from a five month absence with a very good and unlucky second on the AW when short of room at Kempton over 1m in June. Uncharacteristically poor at Nottingham this month however and needs very best stuff here.
Won a 1m soft-ground maiden at Ffos Las a year ago but hasn't shown much in four 2018 starts over 1m-1m2f, gets the blinkers on now but perhaps needs more assistance from the handicapper.
Six-race maiden, has been very competitive in all three handicap starts so far, including over C&D in May. Runs from the same mark today and should again be in the mix.
Lightly-raced Zoffany gelding, won a 7f novice contest at Chester in August and underwent wind surgery over the winter. No significant improvement shown but makes AW bow from lowest handicap mark to date.
Dansili colt, won over 7f here in July and ran well in further starts here and at Chelmsford later in the month over same trip. Up in distance now and has gone up 4lb in ratings, may still be improving.
Lightly-raced War Front colt, improved significantly to land facile success in Lingfield (1m, AW) maiden last month. Could be a major player on handicap bow if building on that fine success now.
Clear claims judged on his juvenile form but he has hardly beaten a rival this year and trainer now reaches for first-time blinkers in bid to get some reaction. Hard to fancy.

Real Estate (9/4), Pheidippides (5/2), Althaaqib (6/1), Zoffalee (13/2), Paco's Prince (8/1), Pensax Boy (14/1), Casement (14/1), Casina Di Notte (16/1), Dark Alliance (20/1), Kit Marlowe (25/1), Inaam (28/1)
PHEIDIPPIDIES has been running consistently from this mark since switching to handicaps and should soon be rewarded for his efforts. He looks sure to throw his hat in the ring once more in an open event. Course winner Real Estate continues to go well and is far from exposed, he's got to be near the top of any shortlist. Dark Alliance is likely to leave a poor run at Ascot behind and get involved while Althaaqib cannot be ignored on handicap debut after cruising to victory at Lingfield last time.
