Bounced back to form the last twice on the AW but is higher rated on turf so likely to find this tougher from a wide draw. Tough ask off top weight and would prefer some cut in the ground so any rain would be a plus.
Showed benefit of previous run when going very close at Lingfield (7f, good to firm) last time. Nudged up 1lb for that and not always the most straightforward so not guaranteed to back that up, but could go well if doing so.
Beaten a neck over 5f at Newbury (good-to-firm) a month ago. Failed to replicate that effort on the AW subsequently and likely more needed if he's to take this event.
Won at Brighton on her reappearance over 6f (firm) off a 3lb lower mark. The wheels have slightly come off in two runs since and now needs a sharp return to peak form to take this.
Off the mark at the sixth time of asking when prevailing by a head at Wolverhampton last month. Filed to cope with the penalty next time when well beaten and needs to bounce back to his best on a return to turf here.
Hold-up performer who is on a rapid slide down the weights. Very capable off this sort of mark but his last couple of starts have not hinted that a win is imminent. Market move could be significant.
Showed promise in early starts but has really struggled since switching to handicaps. Should be capable of making a splash off this sort of mark at some point and certainly not ruled out.
Previous C&D winner who ran with real credit on return to action at Brighton last month just getting tired close home. Should come on for that run and entitled to be in the mix here once again.
Only 1lb higher now than when winning a couple of races earlier in the year. Well beaten on last two starts however and now needs a sharp return to form to be involved.
Only had two starts so far this year and both have looked needed. Should be approaching peak fitness now though and she is attractively weighted here from a good draw. Possible each-way claims.
Has been struggling to find any kind of form so far this year and races from out the handicap here. Likely to find this tough going once more.
Seems to act a little better on turf than the AW and ran really well here two starts back. Couldn't back that up at Leicester next time but would have sound claims if returning to form back at this venue despite being 1lb wrong.
Lowly rated and struggling to get involved at the business end of his races. Similar story on the cards here racing from out the weights.

Violet's Lads (9/2), Frank Cool (5/1), Wild Flower (5/1), Flowing Clarets (8/1), Langley Vale (8/1), Alkashaaf (8/1), Arnoul Of Metz (11/1), Dukeofwallingford (11/1), Mistry (14/1), Willsy (16/1), Chizz De Biz (16/1), Harlequin Rose (20/1), Suni Dancer (25/1), Rocus (28/1), Concur (40/1)
Any rain would certainly aid the chances of Flowing Clarets who has been running well on the AW of late. Dukeofwallingford is likely to come good sooner rather than later and is respected. We will give the edge to WILD FLOWER who should come on for her first run after a break last time and has sound claims here.
- Wild Flower
- Dukeofwallingford
- Flowing Clarets
