Stepped up to 1m6f for handicap debut latest while still in the care of Roger Charlton and won comfortably. 5lb rise not harsh so big chance if as effective for new yard and at this shorter trip.

Off the mark latest in stable debut when successful in a 1m1f handicap at Musselburgh. Looked well worth a try over further there and bred for middle distances so could be more to come.

Gained first success last time out over 1m2f at Beverley where he seemed to win with a bit in hand. Upped to 1m4f for first time and 6lb higher but all the signs are that he is still improving.

1m2f Pontefract winner didn't seem to stay 1m6f two starts back before finishing second albeit soundly beaten over 1m4f back at Pontefract last time. Back to last winning mark now and this trip may prove her ideal.

Improved effort in third run last time out where he was second although beaten 12L at Pontefract over 1m4f. Steps into handicaps with scope for improvement so not ruled out.

Verdict

Just the five runners here but a really competitive looking race nonetheless. Preference is for Tim Easterby's BREATHABLE who looks to be on the up after good runs the last twice and there could be more come now upped to 1m4f. Low Profile, a decisive winner at Wetherby may prove the biggest danger stepping back in trip and Roundhead going the opposite way distance wise is another who merits serious consideration.
