12 runs since his last win and for the most part disappointing in that run he did take a step back in the right direction last time at Ripon. That came off a much reduced mark back over 6f and a repeat of that would make him of interest in this.
On a long losing run but in his last run he shaped as though he might be able to put that right off this much-reduced mark. Blinkers being back on (retained here) appear to have made some difference and should not be far away (placed here before).
Looks a better performer for the most part on the AW and his last two performances on that surface have indicated that he should be able to win soon. Has won on turf but he'll be of more interest back on AW particularly Tapeta.
Second run back from a wind op he ran poorly over C&D last time despite needing the run. He has shown some useful form at best but has yet to really fire this year and is best watched here against some useful sorts.
Has one standout performance/win this season on his 2nd run for this yard and lost his way after that win off a higher mark. Needs to regain his form on quicker ground than he has faced for a while with others making more appeal.
Quick ground has caused her absence in a few races of late but was allowed to take her chance on a fast surface over C&D on Saturday; posted a career-best effort. Just touched off Duncan Of Scotland here on Saturday; has to do it under a penalty.
Three-time C&D winner with two of those victories coming this year the second coming out of the blue but by far her best ever performance here. Last two performances have over 7f here underlined her inconsistency; mark testing and high enough.
Lightly-raced maiden who even with a hood used for the first-time on her last start failed to settle. Will need to overcome that trait before she can be supported at this level and others make more appeal.
Really would be breaking a long losing run having last troubled the judge 51 runs ago and has for the most part underperformed in handicaps of late. Tried over 1m here on Saturday and had the run of the race but still came up short; others preferred.

Bossipop (3/1), Yes You (7/2), Katheefa (9/2), Duncan Of Scotland (11/2), Pomme De Terre (13/2), Giant Spark (12/1), Conversant (12/1), Steelriver (12/1), Jessie Allan (16/1), Sugar Coating (18/1)
Three of this field have already recorded C&D wins with Yes You being the latest on Saturday just touching off Duncan Of Scotland with the weights and the run of the race looking to favour the latter of that duo now. Jessie Allan is an inconsistent sort but is another who likes this C&D so shouldn’t be written off returned to 6f. It’s hard to ignore the claims of POMME DE TERRE though who is well treated if he can build on his York 2nd last time out with the blinkers on again. Bossipop is another who ought to be capable off his reduced mark having run well at Ripon last time.
- Pomme De Terre
- Duncan Of Scotland
- Yes You
