Back to winning ways off a 5lb lower mark in a C&D handicap last month, and not disgraced at Galway last time. Needs to raise his game to win this, but cheekpieces may help.

Won her maiden here, and good efforts to be placed in handicaps at Gowran and Limerick in May/June. Fairly treated off same mark, and one to bear in mind once more.

Now 5lb higher than when winning a C&D handicap in May (Lethal Power fourth), and didn't get the race run to suit when fourth of 6 behind that rival at Leopardstown last time. Should still progress.

Won his maiden over further, but suited by drop back to 1m when winning 6-runner handicap at Leopardstown. Raised 6lb for that, which demands more, but he's still unexposed.

Won his maiden at Leopardstown in May, and improved to make a winning handicap debut there in June. Respectable efforts both starts since, but improvement seems to have flattened out.

Been tried at a variety of trips but both wins this season have come at 1m, and she can be forgiven a lesser effort at Sligo last time when left poorly placed. Should bounce back.

Best on AW for David Simcock, although winless in 2017, and hasn't been in much form for current yard, albeit not disgraced here last time.

Still a maiden and consistent rather than progressive, finishing a creditable second of 6 to Dream Ascot in maiden at Killarney last time. Others look to have his measure again.

Forecasts

Lethal Power (11/4), Band of Outlaws (9/2), Bucky Larson (5/1), Wild As The Wind (7/1), Medal Of Honour (8/1), Scoil Naisiunta (8/1), Tremendous Leap (10/1), Waterboy (10/1), Ahlan Bil Zain (12/1), Texas Rock (14/1)

Verdict

MEDAL OF HONOUR was behind Lethal Power last time, but is better judged on his previous win over this C&D, when he had that rival back in fourth, and the pair meet on identical terms now. Band of Outlaws, a stable-companion of the selection, ran well enough in the feature mile handicap at Galway, and could find a bit of improvement with cheekpieces now tried.
