Looked like a very classy prospect when winning his first three starts but he's disappointed a little upped in class on his last couple of efforts. Quite possible a return to softer ground is what's required after he was tailed off last time.
Won a valuable sales race at York last year and while he's been struggling over longer trips in recent starts, a drop back down to 6f could suit. Respectable effort at Goodwood last time and the handicapper has given him a chance.
Won on his second start at Nottingham but losing run since that day is mounting up. Handicapper starting to relent and Moreira in the saddle is a positive but the colt has a bit to prove at present and he was well beaten at Goodwood last time.
Ran well when placed in a valuable handicap at Newmarket last month. Handicapper has left him on the same handicap mark here and he shaped like the stiff nature of this track may suit when staying on well last time out.
Won in very impressive fashion at Kempton back in January but he's paid the price with his handicap mark since. Only dropped 1lb for his latest effort at Goodwood and more needed here.
Won his maiden at Chelmsford on his seasonal return and only narrowly beaten when runner-up here over 7f next time. Not disgraced in two course valuable handicaps since and it's interesting he's dropped right back to 6f here.
Won her maiden at Haydock last year and ran okay in a couple of Group races towards the end of the campaign. Disappointed on return at Newmarket though and didn't beat a rival home in the Sandringham. First-time tongue-tie and cheekpieces tried.
Picked up very well to win at Windsor earlier in the week and it's likely he will be going up further than the 3lb penalty he carries here. Yard in excellent form and this gelding is still unexposed.
Has been running well in defeat of late, as seen when placed behind Shaheen last time out. Hard to see her reversing the form from just 3lb better off here but she's consistent and should run well.
Won twice last year and while he finished second behind re-opposing Shaheen at Doncaster two starts back, his other five efforts this year have been poor. Likely he's well-handicapped if he turns up in the right mood.

George Of Hearts (3/1), Shaheen (3/1), Roundhay Park (5/1), Tangled (8/1), Bungee Jump (9/1), Helvetian (11/1), Green Power (12/1), Ertiyad (14/1), Snazzy Jazzy (14/1), Rebel Streak (25/1), Consequences (33/1)
SHAHEEN only has to carry a 3lb penalty for his win at Windsor on Monday and he looks most progressive this season. Roundhay Park has escaped any action from the assessor after a good third last time out in a valuable Newmarket handicap and may prove to be the main danger. At a likely bigger price, Tangled shouldn't be ruled out on his return to a sprint trip.
- Shaheen
- Roundhay Park
- Tangled
