Not won since debut in October 2016. Last three runs less than inspiring so hard to see the drought ending here.

Over a year now since her 12th career success came at Redcar. Placed efforts the last twice at Hamilton over 1m½f and slightly shorter trip here may help. Handicapper holding up his side of the bargain to give her a shout.

Won on handicap debut in a maiden event over 1m½f on the AW at Wolverhampton latest. 6lb higher now and has to prove she is as effective on turf (just one run so far).

Placed three times in four starts this term and headed late on in each of them. Trip here could prove ideal and will surely make a bold bid with a first-time visor giving her the potential to eek out a bit more.

Not really built on handicap success at Chester over 7½f in two subsequent starts. Carries the same mark here so suspect she is up against it.

Handicap debutant's best effort in three starts to date came in lone turf run over 1m½f at Nottingham when third. Possibly didn't stay over 1f further latest so reasons she can improve here.

Miss Mumtaz (11/8), Poppy Love (11/4), Kismat (5/1), Alexandrakollontai (7/1), Ghalia Al Thumama (7/1), Stosur (8/1), Ce La Vie (10/1), Bush Beauty (20/1)

Verdict

Front-runner MISS MUMTAZ deserves to get her head in front and it is hoped that Ian Williams filly can do so here in race where she should be able to set her own pace. Ghalia Al Thumama is feared in her first handicap with the suspicion we are yet to see the best of her. Similar remarks apply to Kismat who also steps into a handicap for the first time and she may enjoy today's trip better than her latest start on the AW.
  1. Miss Mumtaz
  2. Ghalia Al Thumama
  3. Kismat
