Gained deserved success on firm ground at Bath last time out after a hat-trick of seconds. Handicap on the rise now but still below AW rating so no reason he can't go close again.
Now some 13lb below career high mark of last summer. Several placed efforts without quite being able to get serious this campaign but handicapper is easing the burden all the while. Cheek-pieces now added.
Some promising efforts this term including a second at Doncaster. Well beaten at York latest when 13th and has some 10½L to make up with Siege Of Boston on that run at the same weights.
Won at Lingfield on the AW back in March but unplaced in five subsequent starts with handicapper slow to assist him. Probably still too high in the weights.
Promise in first three races but seemingly going the wrong way since and finishes of 10th,10th and 15th the last three races tell the story. Hard to fancy at present.
Won first two starts this term to complete a hat-trick. Handicapper seems to have caught up since and under-performances last twice leave doubts whether he needs cut in the ground to show best form.
Gained deserves success at Ayr two starts back after five seconds this term. Made favourite to follow up latest despite 5lb hike but could manage only fourth of seven. Changed stables since so hopefully can continue good form.
1-21 and almost two years since she won at Goodwood (7f), when 8lb higher. Recent efforts have not hinted hugely at a revival. Others preferred.
Finished second last time out Thirsk despite racing in a group of two stands side (other finished last). Suspect she would have won if racing in main group there so big chance here and still below last winning mark.
A winner at Thirsk two starts since which is in contrast to other quite moderate efforts this term. Had a wind-op since last run and perhaps that will cure his inconsistency.
Handicap would be of some appeal now after an up and down campaign but major concerns having burst a blood vessel latest when well-beaten and not the first time he's run flat so could be recurring theme.
Lightly raced this campaign after a busy 2017. Promising start at Wetherby but failed to build on that at Chepstow and Wolverhampton and other at present make more appeal.
