Age: 5| Weight: 9-12| J: J F Egan| T: R Eddery| OR: 72| CD

7/1

Just 2lb higher than last winning mark and gets a significant drop in grade. Well suited by this distance in the past and a former C&D winner. Should be a leading player.

Nibras Galaxy^b1¹⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: S De Sousa| T: I Mohammed & J Santos| OR: 74

6/4

Only win came on quick ground but remains open to improvement after just nine starts and just 4lb higher. Ran into a couple of decent types on first run at this distance and could find more with change of headgear.

Laughing Stranger²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: J P Spencer| T: J Noseda| OR: 73

12/1

Well held in three starts since promising debut. Could have more to offer now going handicapping but others more progressive and needs to find something extra.

Trouble And Strife¹¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: L Morris| T: Sir Mark Prescott| OR: 73| BF

6/5

Denied a hat-trick by a potentially decent type on first try at this trip and remains a typically progressive runner for this stable. Could be hard to peg back for stable that won this last year.

Form: 85-2112

Yet to place in 10 starts and well held last start. Up in trip but tough ask again from out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Trouble And Strife (6/5), Nibras Galaxy (6/4), Graceful Lady (7/1), Martinengo (10/1), Laughing Stranger (12/1), Queen Adelaide (25/1)

TROUBLE AND STRIFE is improving with every run and may get the run of the race up front in a small field. She could be hard to pass if being allowed to dominate and like Nibras Galaxy probably just ran into some smart opposition last time. Graceful Lady is the only non three-year-old in the field but is certainly respected in this grade while Martinengo has plenty of stamina in his pedigree and can build on a luckless run last start.
