Elusive Pimpernel gelding out of a Fantastic Light mare. Sire has produced a modest crop of jumpers to date so watching brief on debut.
Son of Oasis Dream purchased for €140,000 as a yearling. Last of six beaten 78L when tailed off on debut in a 1m4f Curragh maiden in June. Sent hurdling already and makes debut here following gelding operation.
Nothing but solid and consistent in five starts for trainer Ger Lyons on the Flat. Looks an extremely interesting hurdling recruit for leading connections.
Well held in three maidens before three dismal handicap runs over a variety of trips including when last seen in May. Others hold stronger profiles on hurdling debut.
Victorious over 1m3f on his final start for Ralph Beckett at Kempton in April. Blinkers worn for the first time that day left off since most recently when well beaten over an extended 1m1f on debut for this yard. Looks a long-term prospect.
Urban Poet gelding out of a Red Ransom mare. Sire has had slow start with national hunt progeny but boasts the improving 110-rated Denis Hogan-trained hurdler Golden Poet.
Nine-race maiden on the Flat showing relatively little on each start. Could be well out of her depth in this company on hurdling introduction.
Failed to finish within 6L of the winner in three inept starts on the Flat last year. Best watched on hurdling debut following long lay-off.
71-rated Flat handicapper for Ed Walker and failed to show any spark in three starts for current yard. Likely to fare better over hurdles.
Appears to have her own ideas down at the start being difficult to load, slowly away or even refusing to race at Roscommon on final Flat start. Hard to make a case for the filly on hurdling graduation.
Useful 72-rated Flat handicapper for leading yard and it can be expected she will be well prepped for hurdling debut here.
Modest 48-rated Flat handicapper who looks a long-term prospect related to useful Nicky Henderson Grade 3 winner Jenkins. Worth a market check.
