Went close here over C&D (good to soft) in April for Sir Michael Stoute, but not as good in two subsequent runs for that trainer. Bought for 17,000gns last month and makes debut for this yard from same mark as those defeats. More needed.
Sole win was over 1m at Newcastle (AW) in September. Slow start in 2018, but best effort last time when 2L second at Doncaster (1m2f, good). Up 2lb for that, but unexposed over this trip and has claims.
Got off the mark at the fourth attempt at Kempton (1m, AW) in April, when 3lb lower. Was slightly unlucky when beaten 1L at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) from this mark latest and is short-listed again here.
Well held in all three starts so far and initial mark looks stiff enough if that form is taken literally. Looks best watched.
Made modest improvements in his three runs so far. Now goes handicapping upped in trip and in headgear. Has to prove he has the stamina for it, while ability is another matter. Others preferred.
Yet to make the frame on turf and has done so just once on AW, when 2¼L second from 1lb lower at Wolverhampton (1m1½f, AW) two starts ago. Disappointed when favourite back there last time. Not ruled out, but has a bit to prove.
