6f Chelmsford AW winner caused problems at the start at the same venue last time out and eventually finished last of nine on her handicap debut. Eased 3lb today and sure that wasn't her true running.
Finished second in his first three races before shade disappointing as favourite on handicap debut at Newmarket latest beaten just over 3L. Gets 1lb back here and no surprise if he can improve on his last run.
6f Brighton winner struggled on handicap debut at Chester when sixth of seven beaten over 13L upped to today's 7f. Same handicap mark today so struggling to recommend him.
Most experienced runner with six starts but remains a maiden. Ran well at Ascot when narrowly beaten into second two starts back before shade disappointing latest upped to 7f at Lingfield. Vulnerable to less exposed horses.
Steps into handicaps on the back of her first career win over 6f at Windsor. Stayed on strongly there to suggest she will appreciate the extra 1f and potential for further improvement so merits respect.
Left quite ordinary maiden form behind when a close second at Newmarket in his first handicap try over 7f. Different ground here and carries an extra 3lb but may be going the right way now so one for the shortlist.
5L fourth of 11 at Leicester on handicap debut last month was his best run to date. 1lb lower today but looks unlikely to battle for more than minor honours.
Only beaten one rival in three starts to date. Gelded since last start and steps up markedly in trip but not seen anything to recommend him so far.
Showed very little in three starts including twice here. 3lb out of the official handicap here although jockey accounts for as much. Others make more appeal.
Forecasts
Even Keel (11/4), Stay Classy (11/4), Gunforhire (4/1), Hard Taskmaster (8/1), The Last Party (10/1), Nayslayer (12/1), Dark Panther (14/1), Jaayiz (16/1), Valentino Sunrise (50/1)
STAY CLASSY may be arriving into handicaps at just the right time. She stayed on nicely to score at Windsor and looked like an extra furlong might be to her liking there so she could improve beyond this opening handicap mark. Both Even Keel and The Last Party ran below par latest but each have strong claims on earlier form so neither should be discounted here.
- Stay Classy
- Even Keel
- The Last Party
