Yensir29
Age: 5|  Weight: 12-2| J: R Johnson| T: O Murphy| OR:  130
11/8
Has a decidedly moderate Flat record (0-18) but has proved more suited by this sphere winning three on the bounce. Has to give weight away all round here but it's hardly a strong field; official ratings suggest he may be able to score again.

Drovers Lane11
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-10| J: Adrian Heskin| T: Miss R Curtis| OR:  124
8/11
Point-to-point winner who improved from his hurdling debut to land a couple of novice hurdles showing himself to be a versatile sort with regard to run style. Won easily last time and there shouldn't be much between him and his main rival here.
3
Horse silk
Diminpetep31
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Nick Scholfield| T: J Scott
50/1
Well held in bumpers and has yet to complete over hurdles (pulled-up twice) and hard to work up much enthusiasm for his chance here based on the evidence so far.
4
Horse silk
Every Chance70
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Kielan Woods| T: N C Kelly
16/1
Irish raider who won three races on the Flat (AW) for Jamie Osborne the last a seller at very prohibitive odds. Failed to make much (if any) impression in his three hurdles runs so far and needs a big stride forward to get involved in this.

Silver Sea373
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: J McGrath| T: J W Mullins
22/1
German Flat winner over 1m2f (showed fairly useful form) who has yet to complete over hurdles (fallen on both occasions). Now returns from a fair absence having shown little when last seen on the Flat; would be a surprise winner.
6
Horse silk
Blue Lobstert110
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-5| J: Lee Edwards| T: M Sheppard| OR:  81
50/1
Tongue-tie goes on for the first-time but it looks as though it may take a lot more than that aid to produce an improved performance. Struggled in various types of races so far and like most of these would be a shock winner.

Horse silk
Rubheirah,t161
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-5| J: Sean Houlihan(5)| T: B Barr
80/1
No form on the Flat and only completed in one of her point-to-points when with Antony Burks. Now back under Rules with a new yard but hard to see her being competitive.
8
Horse silk
10/1
Refused once in a point-to-point before winning a weak Open maiden point-to-point before going to her current yard. Well beaten in a bumper and a novice but has hinted at some ability and may pick up some place money here; handicaps await.

Forecasts

Drovers Lane (8/11), Yensir (11/8), The Boola Bee (10/1), Every Chance (16/1), Silver Sea (22/1), Blue Lobster (50/1), Diminpete (50/1), Rubheira (80/1)

Verdict

This pretty much boils down to a match between the two penalised runners who on form are miles ahead of this field DROVERS LANE may just be able to make the most of the 6lb that he receives from Yensir having won twice now and looked a decent sort in doing so. The remainder should have a good battle for the minor place with The Boola Bee chosen to take that having won a point-to-point in June and then having shown some ability under Rules.
  1. Drovers Lane
  2. Yensir
  3. The Boola Bee
