Won over this trip at Windsor last year and makes his debut for a new yard having raced out in the Middle East in the winter without any success.

Eased 1lb despite two solid efforts of late, possibly not quite getting home over a longer trip last time out. In with a squeak and has fair place claims, at least.

Desperately out of form both on the Flat and over hurdles this summer. First-time blinkers are going to have produce miracles for him to get back into the winning groove, but the booking of Hayley Turner won't do any harm.

Won under today's jockey when scoring at Ayr in June. Not quite at his best in two starts since at Hamilton but this track may suit him better.

Two wins last summer included this very race 12 months ago where he scored off a 7lb lower mark on good to soft ground. Stayed on when second at Pontefract last time out and looks set to bold bid for back-to-back successes in this event.

Just 1 win from 20 starts which came on soft ground at Doncaster in March. Very different conditions here but represents top yard and has fine lady jockey on board.

Trainer has fine strike rate under both codes, and this mare came good last time out when staying on well to win at Catterick over similar trip to today. Fast ground seems to suit so should go well.

Two dreadful efforts since joining current stable two starts back and on that evidence it is very hard indeed to be positive about his chances.

Blinkered here for the first time at the ripe old age of 10. Not beaten far on his last two starts and if repsonding positively to the headgear cannot be ruled out of the equation.

Dual purpose mare who won on the Flat at Hamilton in early June then followed up in handicap hurdle at Market Rasen two weeks later. 8lb higher than last win so needs to produce an even better performance this time.

Regressive maiden ex-Irish filly who has failed to stay over longer distances on first two outings for current yard. 5lb out of the handicap and makes little appeal.

Calliope (7/2), Mitcd (4/1), Diamonds A Dancing (9/2), Golconda Prince (7/1), Thorntoun Care (7/1), Snookered (7/1), Searching (17/2), Unite The Clans (14/1), King Of The Celts (14/1), Island Flame (16/1), Outcrop (25/1), Bogardus (28/1), Purdey (66/1)

Verdict

DIAMONDS A DANCING won this race 12 months ago and has been in good form of late suggesting a repeat success is far from out of the question despite a 7lb higher mark. Calliope looks a real danger having won nicely at Catterick on fast ground recently, while Mitcd is not out of this despite the handicapper having had his revenge following her win at Hamilton. Searching, Thornotun Care and Golconda Prince are others worth running the rule over in an open contest.
