325,000 gns yearling by Dansili out of the top-class mare Izzi Top. Made an impressive debut at Yarmouth back in October when streaking clear of a big field. Off for ten months and starts life for a new yard today. Sound claims if ready to go.

By High Chaparral and from an excellent Juddmonte Farms family. Very green on debut when getting reminders early when tailed off at Leicester. Should do better at some stage.

Dark Angel colt, last of 12 in maiden at Newmarket (7f, good to soft) on debut. Big step forward up to this trip when second at Windsor on reappearance in June. Major player if taking a step forward from that now.

Colt by Mastercraftsman that cost €105,000 as a yearling. Both runs so far have hinted at ability and liekly to take a step forward at some stage. Market may be a good guide.

Unraced daughter of Mastercraftsman bought for $35,000 as a yearling in October 2016. Half-sister to the dual Grade 1 winner Toccet and worth a check in the market on racecourse debut.

Daughter of Passing Glance who is a half-sister to 1m2f winner Bobs Her Uncle. Dam was a maiden over various trips and is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Sky Lantern. Market useful on debut.

Daughter of Foxwedge who cost just £800 as a yearling. Half-sister to 2m hurdle winner Let's Sway. Dam was a maiden and probably best watched on debut unless market screams her name.

78,000 gns daughter of Australian star Redoute's Choice. Beaten quite a long way on debut at Newmarket over 7f back in September. Absence suggests all has not been straightforward and starts life for a new yard today.

Took a large step forward from debut effort at Woverhampton last month when a closing second. Extra yardage here should suit and will be a leading contender with further improvement.

Declaration of War half-sister to useful 7m/1m winner Lanansaak. Cost 130,000 gns as a yearling. Beaten a very long way on debut and has since switched to her new yard. Much more needed.

Forecasts

Willie John (1/1), Hidden Depths (7/2), Janabiya (4/1), Scaramanga (7/1), Call Me Madam (20/1), Alexis Carrington (20/1), Lollys Dream (33/1), French Heroine (40/1), Constituent (100/1), Debbi's Dream (100/1)

Verdict

Several of these have the potential to do better than they have shown so far. Willie John was an impressive winner on debut but the absence since would suggest all has not been straight forward. He is capable of more if fit and ready. HIdden Depths is improving and will have sound claims once more. This can go to JANABIYA who shaped like this trip will suit at Wolverhampton last time and can get off the mark today.
  1. Janabiya
  2. Willie John
  3. Hidden Depths
