C&D winner in May his form has a rather uneven look about it this season and he disappointed over C&D last time having run well to be runner-up to a resurgent sort the time before. Not that well drawn here and 5lb above last winning mark.

Form figures here read 11234 and now back on his last winning mark having looked rather unlucky at Chester last time (hampered early). Not seen to maximum effect on his last visit here but interesting if he gets a decent pace to run at and some luck.

Probably better than his overall record of 1-20 shows but yet to win for his current yard although he has been tried in tougher handicaps than this. Ran with credit (again) last time over 7f at Carlisle but still looks far from well handicapped.

From a yard that have been steadily working their way back to form his last two efforts off reduced marks have better but still a long way below his best. Should be competitive off this mark though dropping back to 7f; 3-21 at this trip.

Operating off a tumbling mark for this yard but showing no real signs of recovering his previous form when with Tom Dascombe (won off 95 in that time). Last of six at Hamilton last time over 6f he's now back over 7f; plenty to prove.

Won on the AW over this trip back in February he was in good form in the early weeks of the turf season along with his stable (went close off 8lb higher at Brighton). Form has gone downhill since then and only beat one home at Chester (latest start).

Consistent sort who has proved very reliable and recorded his 3rd win of the year last time at Beverley; managed to eke out some more progress. Stays well and can race prominently and up just 3lb for his last win although more improvement is needed.

Showed his best form on turf so far (winner on AW) when improving to take the runner-up slot over 1m at Ripon off a 1lb lower mark. Had the run of the race and whilst he kept on well he didn't look straightforward; 7f now and well drawn to lead.

Appears suited by a sharp track having won over C&D and at Catterick (6f) this season continuing in good heart in three runs since those back-to-back wins. Beaten three times off a mark of 67and 1lb higher here; work to do to win off this mark.

Forecasts

Bibbidibobbidiboo (4/1), Our Charlie Brown (9/2), Inner Circle (9/2), How Bizarre (5/1), Pepys (11/2), War Department (7/1), Sureyoutoldme (12/1), Barracuda Boy (25/1), Sayesse (33/1)

Verdict

There look to be one or two that like to press on here and that should lead to a good pace and a well run race. The progressive How Bizarre looks sure to try and run the field off their feet but his chance may be compromised by the presence of Pepys who has to overcome another rise in the weights if he were to record his 4th win of the season. A well run affair is just what OUR CHARLIE BROWN needs and after being unlucky and hampered at Chester last time a return to one of his favourite tracks may be what he needs to get back on the winning trail. War Department with his yard back in form is a danger off this mark and he should be noted in the market.
