Won his second start as a juvenile but has failed to place in four runs this year and not looked like a return to the winners' enclosure is likely any time soon on recent starts. May need some relief from the handicapper and ease in the going.
Disappointed in his hat-trick bid last time but had looked progressive prior to that and may have found the run coming too soon, just four days after his prior success. Worth giving another chance to.
Has struggled from his revised mark since his Kempton success in January. Better over a bit further than this and more effective on AW.
Rattled off a hat-trick this year but struggled a little in a much deeper contest at Newmarket last time. Quite possible we still haven't seen the best of him yet and the booking of Moore is an obvious positive.
A winner of two of his four starts, most recently when getting up late at Windsor. The fast 5f here not sure to play to his strengths but more progress likely for a yard that do well with sprinters and he's only up 6lb for the win.
Arrives bidding for a hat-trick and particularly impressive when making all at Chelmsford last time. 7lb rise is justified and the yard are flying at present.
Has won three of his five AW starts but he's failed to prove as effective on turf. Not certain to appreciate the drop back in trip here and others preferred.
Inconsistent sort and failed to build on his Lingfield win at Salisbury last time in a four-runner contest. Yard have a stronger contender with Embour.
Has won two of his three recent starts at Brighton and improving at present. Only up 4lb for the latest of those efforts and gives the impression he has the speed for this test.
Seemingly at his best with plenty of cut in the ground, as seen when winning at Chester towards the end of last year. Has been a little below form throughout this campaign and the drop back in trip on this ground leaves him vulnerable.
Got his head in front for the first time this season at Newbury but failed to justify favouritsm despite escaping a penalty at Doncaster last time. 4lb higher in a deeper race makes him opposable.
Won at Bath over this trip as a juvenile but hasn't been in the same form for current connections and he's out of the handicap here.

Cowboy Soldier (3/1), Kick On Kick On (4/1), Embour (5/1), Lord Riddiford (6/1), Helvetian (10/1), Iconic Knight (10/1), Green Power (10/1), Marnie James (12/1), Jack Taylor (12/1), Dragon Moon (14/1), Porchy Party (14/1), Count Otto (16/1), Dahik (40/1)
MARNIE JAMES may have disappointed in his bid for a hat-trick last time out but that run just four days after his success was too bad to be true and he's been given time to recover. He's taken to return to form and get the better Embour who gets Ryan Moore for company and Cowboy Soldier who is expected to be doing all his best work in the finish.
- Marnie James
- Embour
- Cowboy Soldier
