In good form last year, winning at Leicester and running a creditable race in a valuable handicap at Doncaster at the end of the season. There may be more to come up in trip but there's a concern all her best form has come with cut in the ground.

Has won twice in Group 3 company and only narrowly run out of it at Haydock last time in Group 2 company. Brings the highest official rating in to this but lacks the potential of some of these.

Has won twice in Listed company already this year. Perhaps didn't stay when previously tried over this trip though and needs to take her form to a new level to have a say here.

Won twice last year but she's been well below form in four starts for this yard and has plenty to prove up at this level.

Won on debut at Nottingham and changed hands after her second run of 2017. Improved from seasonal debut to place in a Group 3 at Newcastle last time and trainer is flying at present. No surprise to see her take this step up in class in her stride.

Has won four of her six starts and clearly progressive but she was comfortably beaten in behind God Given at Haydock last time out and may struggle to reverse that form alone. Step back up in trip probably in her favour.

Won three of her five starts last year and placed on the other two runs. May have needed the run on her return to action in France but there's a suspicion she will have wanted the ground softer than what's likely here.

Course winner on debut and got her head back in front for the first time at Doncaster in May. Beaten in two handicaps since though and has plenty to find to compete here.

Winner of a Group 3 at the Curragh but struggled behind some of these in a Haydock Group 2 last time. Needs to improve again here but step up in trip might see her in a better light.

Won her only start as a juvenile, and highly tried this year, finishing fourth in Lingfield Oaks Trial before a lesser effort in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot. First-time hood may help see her get her head back in front.

Clearly on the up at present, winning each of her last three starts but they all came in handicap company and she would need a sizable step forward to mix it at this level.

Shaped with promise on sole start as a juvenile and won a Chelmsford novice event that has worked out well since on second start. Couldn't have won more easily at Kempton last month and rates as the type to do better over this even longer trip.

Verdict

PILASTER was very impressive when winning at Kempton last time and the runner-up that she beat by eight lengths that day won a valuable handicap next time out at Newbury. With the step up in trip likely to see her to even better effect and less exposed than many of her rivals, she's taken to take this step up in class in her stride. Maid To Remember improved when placed in a Group 3 last time while. God Given was runner-up last time but she had a few of these in behind and may be capable of another placed effort here.
