Enjoying a successful time since joining current trainer from Jim Bolger, winning three 1m handicaps on good to firm this season, latterly at Ayr. Up in the weights again, but should be competitive if handling this easier ground.
Two wins from five starts and probably found 1m2f too far at Epsom last time. Obvious candidate back down in trip and has winning form on an easy surface.
Made all when spreadeagling his field over 7½f at this track last week. Turned out quickly under a 6lb penalty and has to be treated seriously with underfoot conditions not an issue.
Experienced campaigner who has won nine of his 86 starts and is more exposed than his rivals. Inching down the weights, but others hold stronger claims.
Won at this track in April and added to that success at Haydock before finishing last of six at the latter venue on his last outing. Has been freshened up and may well return to an upward curve.
First outing since wind surgery when a distant third of six at Pontefract. Needs to build on that, but is 6lb lower.
Forecasts
Three Saints Bay (11/8), Monaadhil (5/2), Mont Kinabalu (7/1), Detachment (9/1), Alejandro (10/1), Club Wexford (10/1), Sumner Beach (20/1)
Top-weight Club Wexford , who represents last year's winning stable, is in great heart, but has to prove he can handle this sort of ground. Three Saints Bay has obvious claims under a penalty following his runaway win at this venue and Mont Kinabalu is surely better than he showed last time, but the vote goes to MONAADHIL, who will appreciate this shorter trip, has few miles on the clock and acts well with cut in the ground.
