Went close last time over C&D off 3lb lower mark so a similar display would put him in among them once again. Still a maiden after 14 starts though.
Fourth of 15 in heavy ground Roscommon maiden for previous handler, but missed the break and looked in need of the run when always last here earlier this month after 10-month absence.
11-race maiden, finished third here over an extra furlong in April but hasn't run well since and appears to face a stiff task on recent evidence.
Run respectably in two out of three starts in novice events to date and begins handicap career off a workable mark. Represents top yard so looks very much one for the shortlist.
Showed little of note in first four starts but did better last time when fourth at Kempton over a mile. Just 1lb higher and the penny might now have dropped so is worth considering.
60,000 guineas Dark Angel gelding but is beginning to look expensive after showing little in three outings so far. Too early to write off though and hails from a quality yard so worth checking for any market moves.
Lost out by just a short-head at Kempton in Janury over 1m2f but not in great form since and this trip may be just a little on the sharp side.
Well beaten in two York maidens last year but did better after a long break when staying-on five lengths sixth here in novice event recently. Handed fair handicap mark and yard doing well at present so is of some interest.
Placed just once from 10 starts for Marcus Tregoning and makes debut for new yard at this lowly level. Returns from wind surgery and a long absence so may need the run unless market tells otherwise.
21-race maiden comfortaby outpointed in all recent starts and very hard to enthuse over despite lowly mark and receiving weight from most rivals.
Three runs in Irish maidens but not disgraced in two outings in handicaps so far. Gets weight all round and wouldn't surprise to see some money for this relatively unexposed gelding.
Forecasts
Wavepoint (5/2), Sir Gnet (3/1), Admiral Spice (5/1), Ganton Par (15/2), World Breaker (8/1), Putto (11/1), Agadeer (12/1), Good Impression (25/1), Noneedtotellme (33/1), Mabaady (100/1), Lazizah (100/1)
This looks the more interesting of the two divisions and the vote goes narrowly to Mark Johnston's AGADEER who has shown enough to suggest this might be a reasonable target. Bottom weight Wavepoint is a potential springer in the market and is worth watching closely, while Ganton Par is another to fall into that category. Sir GNet, World Breaker and Putto are others to take a look at.
- Agadeer
- Wavepoint
- World Breaker
