Missed 2017 and no sign as yet of rediscovering best from since return, although did fare a little better when 7L fourth of 5 at Doncaster last time.
Left Roger Charlton prior to a much improved showing on handicap bow at Chepstow (1½m) last month. All runs have come with ease underfoot, so recent rain a positive, and one to consider given lightly-raced profile.
Sole win on turf came on rain-eased ground, and he's been holding his form well this season. Would have benefited from a stronger gallop at Chepstow last time, and should give his running with conditions likely to suit.
Won turf handicap at Lingfield over 1¼m last summer for Jeremy Gask, and coming back to best after wind surgery, his close third to Knight Errant here last week being a solid effort. Figures on last winning mark.
Flat and hurdles winner in France, but just fair form when fifth over this trip at Lingfield in March, and he has failed to complete in four of five starts over hurdles for current yard, falling at Stratford last time.
Seemingly better on AW than turf these days, and back to winning ways at Wolverhampton in June. Better than result when 13½L third there last time, but opposable again.
Disappointing on last few starts over hurdles for David Pipe, and soundly beaten on debut for current yard at Sandown in May. Plenty to prove on balance.
Won at Chelmsford in January, and not disgraced on AW since, but below form when 6¾ lengths fifth of 10 to Island Song at Beverley last time after a break, and needs to leave that form well behind.
Both wins have come at Kempton, and best turf form has come on a sound surface, running well when 2½L third of 15 to Careyanne at Leicester last time. Not easily dismissed.
Seemed to run above herself when fourth, 6½L behind What A Welcome, at Sandown in May, but disappointed at Goodwood next time, and overall record is very patchy.

Forecasts
Broad Appeal (9/4), Tripartite (10/3), Ancient Longing (4/1), Miss M (9/1), Carry Me Home (9/1), Camakasi (12/1), Boycie (12/1), Raashdy (16/1), Lazarus (20/1), Enmeshing (25/1), Joycetick (40/1), Tobacco Road (50/1)
ANCIENT LONGING has presumably been waiting for softer ground since a promising handicap debut at Chepstow, and recent rain boosts his chances. Tripartite ran well here last week, and rates a danger along with Camakasi. Broad Appeal probably wouldn't want the ground too soft, but can't be ruled out.
