Looked laboured and troublesome at the start on his debut and still looked in need of the experience last time even with the addition of cheekpieces over C&D. Went in snatches last time and needs to produce more to get involved here.
Very green on his debut for a stable who have a bumper record of 1-22 in the past five years. Last of six on that debut over C&D and has plenty of work to do with two of today's rivals (Sid Hoodie/Good Little Wife) on that run.
Cost £24,000 after finishing 2nd in an Irish point-to-point earlier in the year (form nothing outstanding). Now makes his bumper debut from a promising yard who are 2-12 with their bumper runners; worth noting any market moves.

Three bumper runs so far and his form can only be described as modest at best with his 2nd run showing the most rather limited promise. Not seen for quite some while and may need this and others take preference in the pecking order.
Newcomer (4th foal) out of an unraced dam who was a sister to 2m4f hurdle winner Kindly Note. Yard have only had two bumper runners in the past five years and she's best watched on debut.
Well found in the market on her debut over C&D the yard had success with her half-sister Dry 'Ol Party. She looked a little one-paced on debut though (behind Sid Hoodie) and just plugged on at the finish; has work to do based on that.

Down the field and well held on his bumper debut at Exeter and given some wind surgery on the back of that outing. Tongue-tie now goes on for the first-time; yard 1-21 in bumpers (last five years).

One of the most experienced in the field and looks to have improved with each run without looking anything special. Produced her best run last time to get close (flattered) to an odds-on favourite; sound chance in this.

Forecasts

Primal Focus (7/4), Sid Hoodie (15/8), Good Little Wife (11/4), Speedy Gonzalez (14/1), Simon The Great (14/1), Fs Lola (16/1), Dancing Grey (33/1), Across The Park (40/1)

Verdict

None of those that have run set what could be called an exacting standard although Sid Hoodie offers the best form via getting close to an odds-on favourite over C&D last time with two of today’s rivals behind. One of those Good Little Wife may have some improvement in her as that was her first start but the debutant PRIMAL FOCUS is preferred. His point-to-point form was nothing special but he comes from a burgeoning yard who have already has winners in this sphere and market support would increase confidence. Most of the others look set to compete for a minor role at best although money for the locally-trained Fs Lola would be interesting.
  1. Primal Focus
  2. Sid Hoodie
  3. Good Little Wife
