Fallen heavily on his last two starts (at the same fence both times) having only completed once (that was over hurdles) since winning a small-field chase at Plumpton last year. Hard to recommend on the back of his recent record.
Winner on his yard/chase debut, has generally run to a consistent level for this trainer despite not winning over fences again. Returned from a break to go hurdling successfully; won here last time (just held on) off this mark, now back over fences.
Got a good ride when making a winning chase debut over C&D and held his form for the most part after that. Given wind surgery after an appalling run last October and returned from that operation at Cartmel recently (refused to race); care needed.
Certainly not the force of old having returned from a long absence in November and although he's been given a chance by the handicapper appears nowhere near taking it. Often gets behind and makes mistakes; hard to back with confidence.
Yet to win in any sphere over jumps but hard to say that she's not running with credit having hit the first four in her last quartet of runs. Some of her form is quite strong in fact but it does appear that the handicapper has rather got her measure.

David John (11/10), Mrsrobin (5/4), Psychocandy (11/4), Kilmurvy (3/1), Doitforjoe (12/1), Oriental Fixer (16/1)
Mrsrobin comes here looking for her hat-trick (non-runner at Uttoxeter yesterday) having been raised 23lb by the handicapper for her two wins for Dan Skelton and although she won with a bit in hand last time she does face a tougher test this time. DAVID JOHN having already been successful over fences has fared well over the smaller obstacles of late and now returns to chasing off the same mark as he won off last time here over hurdles. Most of the others have something to prove although Psychocandy has been running consistently well but could just do with a little help from the handicapper is she’s to win a race.
