Thorough stayer who scored over Pontefract's 2m2f on his penultimate start, when 3lb lower. Not as good on AW last time and is 0-6 here (was third in 2015 Ebor from 15lb higher). Needs more to win this than he has been able to show for some time.
Equalled his career-best when last seen winning at Nottingham (1m6f, soft) in May. Has won over C&D previously and is best on good or slower ground. 4lb rise to contend with, but very much entitled to consideration.
Was good in 2015, when runner-up in Listed company and third in a Group 3, but has only raced four times since. Returns from another lengthy absence, dropped 4lb. Can only watch.
Has won on good to firm, good and soft ground, the last of those being his latest win at Hamilton (1m5f) 12-months ago. Went close from 1lb higher on reappearance at Doncaster in May (1m6½f, good). Should stay on this flat track. Interesting.
Proved that he gets this trip at Kempton last time, but has been better away from turf, on which he has been placed just once from four starts. Worth a try, but a bit to prove on this surface.
Won this last year, when 4lb lower (good to soft). Back in decent form lately, going close at Pontefract (good to firm) and not far off that at Kempton last time. But more needed for a repeat, but should go well.

Davy's Dilemma (9/4), Stormin Tom (7/2), Graceful Lady (5/1), Slunovrat (5/1), Arab Moon (11/2), Suegioo (10/1), Chocolate Box (10/1), Tommy Docc (20/1)
CHOCOLATE BOX ran well enough here earlier in the season and is unexposed, so now returning to this level he could be up to the task. Slunovrat is feared in opposition, while Davy's Dilemma and Graceful Lady are both much respected.
