Continued a tremendous winter on the AW with success at Pontefract (5f, good to soft) in April. Ran well over C&D next time, though no chance with easy winner. Not disgraced in Wokingham latest. Each-way claims if at his best.
Listed winner who won't mind any rain, but also goes well on fast ground. Has not won since November 2016. Has claims on his form from July/August last year, but below that so far this season.
2¾L fifth against older horses in a Newbury Group 3 (6f, good to firm) last Saturday, though never really pressed there. Makes handicap debut with the feeling that there may be more to come from this three-year-old. Claims.
Encouraging that both career wins have been here, in a 7f maiden and then last year's 6f Listed Garrowby Stakes. 4½L behind Intisaab in Haydock conditions event in May and now 13lb better off. Very interesting back in a handicap with a 4lb drop.
Four wins from eight starts this season, including last time at Nottingham (6f, good to firm). Was beaten from this 1lb higher mark on both starts in June. Each-way claims but more needed for another win in this higher grade.
Has not won since an Ascot Group 3 success (6f, good) in October 2015; record here is 0-4, but has run well on three of those occasions; same mark here as when ½L second at Newmarket last month; each-way claims.
Won over C&D last year from 8lb lower and trainer also won this race last year; not quite at his best so far this term; more needed.
Won this last year under 3lb claimer, from 4lb lower; has been a bit disappointing this season, but if the rains come then that will help his cause.
Has been running with credit over 5f this season and returns to this longer trip for the first time since October 2016. 3lb drop will help but balance of form suggests that he still has a bit to find.
Enjoying a superb season and has won at both Haydock and here over 5f recently, making most to do so by 4l last time. Gets 6f. Probably wouldn't want too much rain as his best form is on a sound/fast surface. Up 8lb but progressing and has claims.
Enjoyed a purple patch this time last year on good/good to soft, including a 5f win here. Back on same mark as his last win. Gets 6f, but needs rain and also some improvement to win at this level.
6f and good/fast ground are his optimum conditions. Last won when 7lb lower at Ayr in June. Went close from just 1lb lower than today next time at Nottingham. Well held both runs since and may struggle on grounds of class.
All his four wins have been over 5f, two of them here on good ground. Acts on good to firm/good to soft too, and is 1lb below his last winning mark. Doesn't make quite as much appeal over this far.
Scored over this trip at Goodwood from 2lb higher last year. Has won twice on AW since, but recent turf form suggests that he has an each-way squeak at best.

No horse has won this from higher than stall 12 in the past seven years, while five of those seven has at least a share of favouritism. Last year's winner Flying Pursuit did so at 12-1, the joint biggest-price of any winner in the past decade. He is not is as good form at present but would come into it is the ground turns softer. However, INTISAAB represents a stable in great form and if the ground remains sound then he is taken to defy top weight with a win. Tommy Taylor is fancied to run very well, while Enjazaat has obvious claims, along with Harome. Baron Bolt, Summerghand and Daschas are others considered.
