Landed a Windsor maiden last summer and has produced two good runs to be placed in handicaps this month. In good form and has the ability to win a race off her current mark.

Behind a couple of these rivals two starts ago and was not at his best over 6f at this venue last time. Won three times earlier in the season off lower marks and return to the minimum trip will suit.

Promise in three starts in novice company from 5f to 7f. This looks to be his optimum distance and he is one to consider on his handicap debut.

First run for this trainer when a fair fourth of eight over this trip at Bath earlier this month. That was his first run following a break so he should strip fitter off 1lb lower.

Maiden after 32 starts, but was not disgraced in first-time blinkers at Chepstow last time. The headgear is retained, but she is difficult to make a case for.

Forecasts

Spanish Star (11/4), Three Little Birds (3/1), Spot Lite (7/2), Look Surprised (9/2), Roundabout Magic (13/2), Ambroise (15/2), Prominna (8/1), Frangarry (20/1), Tally's Song (25/1)

Verdict

Spanish Star, Three Little Birds and Spot Life are closely matched on Windsor form and all three can make their presence felt, a remark which also applies to handicap debutant Ambroise and top-weight Roundabout Magic. However, this could be the day when LOOK SURPRISED wins in handicap company for the first time. She has been running well and looks capable of winning off this mark.
  1. Look Surprised
  2. Spanish Star
  3. Spot Lite
