Won his only start in 2016 and again on his first run last year, both at Haydock over 6f, for William Haggas. Already competitive from this mark this season and will welcome any rain as best form is with some cut in the ground.
Sole turf win was on good (6f). Has been running well this season, although form dipped a little last time. Ok on fast ground, but probably wouldn't want too much rain.
Sole win was over 6f on good ground, and those were also the conditions when he went very close at Goodwood two starts ago. Back on same mark today (well held here over C&D latest). Inconsistent but each-way claims if on song.
Needs at least some of the forecast rain to have his best chance (all wins on good or softer). Has run well here a couple of times and is now 1lb lower than his last win at Catterick in October. Stable in cracking form. Considered.
Not ground dependent, though best with some 'good' in the description. 6lb higher here than when scoring at Hamilton two starts ago (6f). Not always consistent and will need to be somewhere close to his best to win.
Back on a handy mark here after three recent runs here, when he has been well held. Scored from 3lb higher at Nottingham in November. Would welcome any rain (goes well on soft) and would be interesting if it arrives.
1-26 and that win was on the All Weather (6f). Goes best on good or slower ground on turf, so another for whom rain would be welcome. Nicely treated on a couple of good handicap runs last year. Interesting in cheekpieces.
Has been successful twice over 5f this season, but has also previously won a couple at this trip. 4lb higher than when scoring at Thirsk two starts ago. Disappointed at Catterick last time, so has a bit to prove from same mark. Not ground dependent.
Up 5lb for his 2l win at Ayr (6f, good to firm) last time, but did have a fair bit in hand. Encouraging that that was a career-best, so still improving. Couldn't rule him out.
Has been going well enough in defeat on several recent occasions, including being second twice here over 5f (has won at the track). Trip no problem, but more needed from same mark as last two starts. Each-way claims.
Listed winner who goes on any ground. Sees out 7f, though best at 6f and it was this trip over which he last won at Newmarket 11-months ago, when 5lb higher. Beaten just 1½L from this mark last time. Considered.
His three wins have come on good or soft ground. Has been thereabouts from 2lb and 1lb higher on his last two starts at Haydock and Hamilton. Respected, but just a little more needed.
All three wins have been over 7f on AW. Not quite as good on turf, as evidenced on his two starts for this trainer so far. Looks best watched.
Last win came over C&D (good to soft) in 2016. 10lb lower today than when beaten under 1L into second in this race last year. Conditions and shorter trip both against him earlier in the week, but interesting if it rains.
Has won on fast ground, but the soft side of good look to be his optimum conditions, as evidenced by his Pontefract win in April (5f). 1lb higher than that here and not had his conditions often recently, so also interesting if the rain arrives.
Scored over this trip at Doncaster (soft) a year ago to the day, when 2lb lower. Added a fast ground 5f handicap at Beverley in August. Beaten just over 1L from 2lb higher last time. Considered.
Not ground dependent and is effective over both 5f and 6f. Returned from around nine months off to win over the former at Doncaster last week. Up 3lb for that and now that we know wind surgery worked, he could find more.
Prolific winner, though has not done so for over a year and 15 races. Beaten just ¾L from this mark at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) last time, so has claims on that basis. Has won over C&D too, though has not won on slower than good to soft.
All four wins have been over this trip on good ground or faster (for his turf successes). Has not yet been as good this season as his best efforts last term, so needs to raise the bar a little, but can't be ruled out.

Nigh on impossible to solve without a crystal ball to see how much rain will actually fall on the Knavesmire. If it does rain then Pennsylvania Dutch is entitled to consideration, along with Quick Look, Rasheeq, Pomme De Terre, B Fifty Two and Short Work. However, Point Of Woods and MUATADEL are two with decent form claims who are not ground dependent and the percentage call is to side with the latter, from a stable enjoying its best-ever season.
