Not much to shout about in a number of dismal handicap hurdle performances in 2017 before much of the same on return to the track this season. Detached when pulled up on chasing debut earlier this month.
Can be expected to improve for the experience of his chasing debut at Limerick earlier this month over 2m2f on good ground.
Modest hurdler and well held on chasing debut in May at Kilbeggan over 2m4f on soft ground finishing 13th of 14. Easily resistible on second start over fences.
Without a win in four chase starts including when catching the eye in three handicaps since March. Likable type and should be in the mix.
Beaten favourite in a 2m handicap chase at Tramore last month finishing second of 10 beaten 4½L. One for the shortlist in this company.
Not disgraced in a number of hurdle starts since April but will need to raise his overall performance on chasing debut to play a part in the finish here.
Well held when well backed in a couple of bumpers early in his career and down the field in a number of hurdle starts in the last two and half years. Market likely to be informative.
Recently well beaten in a couple of hurdle starts at Gowran Park and Bellewstown. Failed to finish in two chase starts at the turn of the year. Others preferred.
12-race chase maiden last seen over the larger obstacles for David Dennis and without a success for new connections over hurdles. Place claims at best.
Nothing of any note in three career handicap hurdles to date and it may be advisable for a watching brief on chasing bow.
No impression and left a modest fifth in her third beginners chase contest at Limerick earlier this month. Vast improvement needed to figure.
Forecasts
Se Mo Laoch (5/2), Wade Harper (9/2), Smithscorner (11/2), Loupgarou (8/1), Seskin Flyer (8/1), The Comediologist (8/1), Theatre Dreams (10/1), Shes Flat Tothemat (12/1), Three Kings (16/1), Okey Dokey (50/1), Bobbythegangster (66/1)
With conditions to suit SE MO LAOCH has shown plenty of promise in her most recent start at Clonmel recently following a break to get the nod here over the Jessica Harrington-trained Loupgarou and Wade Harper who placed on two occasions while with the David Dennis yard. Theatre Dreams and last time out beaten favourite Seskin Flyer are worthy of consideration.
- Se Mo Laoch
