Dual winner in 2017 and signs that further success isn't far away when placing on his two most recent starts. Beaten just 1½L over 3m2f at Fontwell (good) last month and one to note on this occasion.

Held in two starts since rejoining this yard following a point-to-point and hunter chase run. Steps up in trip but others hold stronger claims.

Followed up a Uttoxeter (3m2f, good) second by finishing runner-up over this C&D earlier this month. Likely to find life tougher following a 3lb rise.

Forecasts

Guerrilla Tactics (11/4), Kilfinichen Bay (10/3), Charlie Mon (7/2), Our Reward (4/1), Call Me Vic (8/1), Deadly Move (11/1), Beneficial Joe (22/1)

Verdict

Last time out winner KILFINICHEN BAY still looks well handicapped and he can follow up his Cartmel success with victory in this competitive handicap chase. The selection has the trip and ground to suit once more and can get the better of Our Reward who chased the selection home when the pair met at Cartmel earlier this month. Third can go the way of Guerilla Tactics who can record a third consecutive placing.
  1. Kilfinichen Bay
  2. Our Reward
  3. Guerrilla Tactics
