Had been consistent at Listed level prior to a dismal effort at Pontefract. Won her last race in this grade and cheekpieces are given a try.
Not at her best on firm ground for her last two starts but her early season exploits show what she can do if conditions deteriorate.
Has proved impossible to pass on her last two starts and she will again try to dominate from the front. Latest rise seems fair but any rain would be detrimental.
Returned with a strong second on her reappearance in a race which is working out well. Has done all her racing in weaker company than this but one to consider if the forecast of rain proves accurate.
Flattered by her proximity to an idling winner at Nottingham in May and unfortunately shot up the weights. Returns to handicap company with the prospect of rain the best thing going for her.
A victory in Listed company last October did little for her mark but she has dropped to a more manageable level now. Stamina to prove and needs rain having disappointed on her last two runs on firm ground. Stable 2-3 in this race.
Struck into on handicap debut but restored her reputation at Newmarket. Showed a good turn of foot to settle the issue and stable 2-3 in this contest.
Beat the useful Sea Of Class at Newmarket in April before failing to stay in the Musidora. Fancied at Royal Ascot when another slow start did not help but could be a different proposition in this company.
Well beaten on soft ground on her seasonal bow but defied a big drift in the market to beat a well-backed favourite last week. Up in grade here but cannot be dismissed if conditions remain quick.
Forecasts
Homeopathic (2/1), Ceilidhs Dream (7/2), Melodies (4/1), Daddies Girl (8/1), Flying North (8/1), Red Tea (14/1), Paco's Angel (16/1), Rebel Assault (20/1), Madeleine Bond (25/1)
CEILIDHS DREAM finished mid-division in the Sandringham after a slow start but that may be less of a problem in this smaller field and she will get a nice tow into the race from front-running Flying North. Ralph Beckett's filly beat a good field of maidens in April and should give a good account off this mark. Homeopathic and Rebel Assault represent yards with good records in this contest, whilst Madeleine Bond and Red Tea enter calculations if there is enough rain to alter the going. Melodies won well last week and would have to be considered if conditions remain quick.
- Ceilidhs Dream
- Homeopathic
- Flying North
