Turned a promising start at Chelmsford into success at Wolverhampton (7f, AW) last time, scoring by 1L, but probably having a bit more in hand. Carries a penalty now for his turf debut, but claimer on board and should be thereabouts.
Made a good debut when scoring by 1¼L at Chester (7f, good to firm) last month. Seemed to know his job well enough there, but should be able to take another step up on that here, despite his 3lb penalty. Enters calculations.
Appeared unlucky when traffic problems probably cost him a debut success at Sandown (7f, good to firm) recently. That looked a smart effort by comparison to some of the form of this field and he could prove tough to beat.
Was a lukewarm 20-1 chance ahead of his Leicester debut (7f, good to firm) last month, but belied those odds to finish 2½L third. Will need significant improvement to win this, but can't rule him out.
2-1 favourite on debut, when beaten just 1¼L at Chelmsford (7f, AW) recently. Ran green there, so certainly room for improvement this time and he should be thereabouts.
5,500gns yearling. Second foal. Dam placed 1m1f, out of unraced half-sister to multiple 1m-1m4f Group 1 winner St Nicholas Abbey and US Grade 2 1m1f/1m4f winner Grammarian. Stable juveniles tend to need at least a run, so probably best watched.

LINE OF DUTY certainly appeared to be unlucky, encountering all manner of traffic problems before being beaten a neck on debut, and he can right that wrong this time. Massam looks likely to prove a danger after a good first effort, while both Water Diviner and Great Scot also made appeal.
