Lope De Vega mare, cost €6,000 as a three-year-old. Half-sister to a winner and dam a winner over 1m. Well beaten in both outings to date and she may well struggle here conceding weight to these rivals.
Only moderate form in six starts for his previous yard, runner-up in a claim last time out and likely to struggle here if he brings that level of form to the table.
Galileo colt, closely related to Group 1 winner Free Eagle. Dam a winner out of an Irish 1,000 Guineas winner. Makes plenty of appeal on paper and market likely to reveal expectations.
Galileo colt, full-brother to Group 2 winner amongst several others and dam was a Listed winner. Failed to improve from his debut when sixth here last time out but likely to do better. Wears first-time tongue-tie.
Leroidesanimaux gelding, half-brother to three winners and dam a half-sister to a Listed winner over 1m4f. Has ran with credit on both starts but will need a big step forward to trouble some of these rivals.
Teofilo colt, dam out of a half-sister to a US Grade 3 winner. Well beaten on debut last year. Market likely to reveal when he's ready to go first-time here.
Nathaniel gelding, cost €38,000 as a foal. Half-brother to five winners including a Listed winner over 7f. Dam a winner. Plenty of promise in his debut run here when still green and a reproduction of that should see him thereabouts.
Lord Shanakill filly, cost €2,000 as a foal and €6,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to three winners and dam a half-sister to a Group 1 winner. Some promise in her maiden run but beaten out of sight at Gowran last time. May need more time.
Fastnet Rock filly, sister to 1m winner. Dam a half-sister to a Listed winner on AW. Yard's newcomers have been running well so far this campaign and not ruled out if any market support arrives for her.
Forecasts
Winner Takes Itall (1/1), Frankincense (5/2), Falcon Eight (11/2), Persian Lion (8/1), Theotonius (20/1), She Got Fast (25/1), Spanish Verse (33/1), Descendant (50/1), Lady Yasmin (66/1)
FRANKINCENSE may do better in first-time headgear here having shown plenty of promise in his debut effort and he's likely to come good before too long. Falcon Eight is an interesting debutante for Dermot Weld who makes appeal on paper but Winner Takes Itall could be the main danger after a promising run on debut here.
