Lethal Force filly, cost 16,000 gns as a foal and €40,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to three winners and dam placed in Listed company over this trip as a juvenile. This looks a suitable test for her debut and worth a check in the market.

Forecasts

Penarth Pier (5/2), Al Hayette (3/1), Zofelle (4/1), Accordance (7/1), Camelot Rakti (17/2), Fleursals (10/1), Oh Yes Please (20/1), Sukalia (66/1), Satwa Park (80/1), Maggies Passion (100/1)

Verdict

Subsequent three-time Group 1 winner and 1,000 Guineas runner-up Laurens won this race last year. It would appear to be another above average renewal with several fascinating debutantes in the line up. Mark Johnston often has his debutantes ready to go and it would be no surprise to see ACCORDANCE run well on her first start over what would appear to be a suitable test. Similar can be said for Zofelle who is well-bred and should appreciate this test. From those with experience, Penarth Pier looks like the most interesting one after a promising effort at Kempton last time and the Champion Jockey in the saddle.
