Useful horse on the Flat on his day but yet to show that level of form over hurdles and finished well beaten on handicap debut at Cartmel last time.
Registered his first victory when winning over an extended 2m2f at Stratford (good) on Sunday. Leading contender turning out quickly under a penalty.
In good form of late finishing runner-up twice over fences since returning this season. Beaten 11L into fourth at Cartmel (good-to-firm) over fences last time and of interest on his return to hurdles.
Dual AW winner and best effort over hurdles came when finishing 12L second at Musselburgh (good) last December. Well beaten since including on handicap debut in April. Return to forecast quicker ground should suit.
Stepped up on seasonal debut when finishing fourth over C&D on good ground last time out. Back down to his last winning mark.
Ten race maiden and making her first appearance since wind surgery when beaten 27L over 2m4f here last time out. Drop in trip in her favour.
13 race maiden under all codes and finished well beaten on heavy ground at Hereford (2m) in April. Making his handicap debut following a break.
Won once in 38 starts and finished well held over an extended 2m4f at Huntingdon (good) in November. Absent since and probably best watched on seasonal debut.
Won twice from 30 starts but most recent victory came came over two years ago. Well handicapped on his old form but others hold stronger claims.
Yet to win in 15 starts but placed on her four most recent outings. Finished a close second over C&D on good ground just over a week ago and is one for the shortlist in this contest.
20 race maiden finished a well held seventh on his return to hurdles on good ground over C&D at the start of this month. Probably best watched at present.
Hampered and unseated early on when making a return to hurdling earlier this month. Has struggled over fences so far this season.
Forecasts
Tidal Watch (7/4), Scotsbrook Night (15/8), Magical Thomas (8/1), Dollar And A Dream (12/1), Mariners Moon (14/1), Lady Vitesse (20/1), Pastoral Music (20/1), Never A Word (25/1), Boss Des Mottes (25/1), Darloa (33/1), Stipulate (50/1), Lost In Newyork (100/1)
SCOTSBROOK NIGHT has been in good form in recent times and she can go one better than when finishing second over C&D recently. The going is in her favour and she can get the better of Tidal Watch who carries a penalty for a recent Stratford success. Boss Des Mottes has been in decent form over fences this season and he can finish third on his return to hurdling.
- Scotsbrook Night
- Tidal Watch
- Boss Des Mottes
