Four-time C&D winner it is 17 starts since he last troubled the judge and he looks a little below-par at the moment. Back to a bare 7f here but and down to a grade he's not been seen in for a considerable while; back at his favourite venue.
Form has an undulating look to it his year although he did bump into one that was thriving last time at Musselburgh. Down to a good mark this trip may be a little on the short side though; needs a real test at this trip.
Today's rider replacing a claimer could well have been the catalyst for a return to winning form last time at Thirsk winning with a little to spare (second a winner since). Never followed up a win before and is up 6lb here but still respected.
Very lightly-raced sort who returns from a long absence having only had one previous run for this yard having previously raced for Michael Dods. Best effort has come at 6f and never tried at this trip before; best watched.
Yet to really get going this year for a new yard having won twice for Richard Hannon last year. Wasn't disgraced last time from a reduced mark which takes another 3lb drop this time around; well handicapped if he finds his form.
Proving very consistent this year and ran well again in defeat last time out at Redcar only going down narrowly. Off the same mark here and although that rating is 7lb above his last winning one he could well go close dropping back to 7f.
Always appears best around here (four-time course winner) and has already recording a C&D win this year off a 3lb lower mark. Looked slightly jaded at Haydock last time with this mark looking a testing one for her.

Mywayistheonlyway (2/1), Hitman (2/1), Pepys (5/1), Make On Madam (8/1), Zebulon (9/1), Equiano Springs (10/1), Jacbequick (12/1), Another Angel (50/1)
Quite a competitive affair with last year’s winner Mywayistheonlyway returning for another crack off a mark that is 2lb higher although he looks as though he could do with a little further these days. Hitman has yet to follow-up a win and has to cope with an increased mark with Zebulon one to watch in the market as he’s becoming dangerously well handicapped if he does hit form. Make On Madam can never be ignored around her home course but the vote goes the way of PEPYS who consistent form is a bonus with the drop back to 7f one that he will easily cope with.
