Twice a winner at the end of last year she started this year on rather a stiff mark and her consistency hasn't really allowed the handicapper to give her any respite. Took the runner-up slot over this trip last time but does look held off this mark.
The one older horse in this quintet he comes her looking to complete a hat-trick having made light of the drop back to 1m last time. Now very much back in form he's up 7lb for his last win but has won and been competitive off higher marks.
Had looked a little unfortunate on his initial run this year when hampered and finishing 4th but soon put that right when trying 1m for the first time at Newbury (form franked). This looks a stiffer test off a career-high mark and others preferred.
Hadn't quite lived up to his debut AW win on his six subsequent turf starts but was well backed for his return to the AW but came up short after travelling well. Gives the impression that while he acts on turf he's better on AW; work to do here.
